Ivory Lodge is the place of elephants.  It is here that great herds of elephants are found - sometimes over 100 strong. It is also here that the famous presidential herd drinks. Hwange is famous for its huge tuskers - big old bulls with magnificent tusks. There are only 6 chalets, and they are elevated.  Since it’s located next to a waterhole you will see game right from the camp. There is a Cape Hunting dog rescue project right next door that is worth a visit.  Daily excursions into the Park will have you looking for lions and buffalo there.  The chalets are raised sit a top giant poles which provide excellent views to the game drinking at the close by waterhole.  The food is excellent with a good variety of choices and the staff very friendly and accommodating.
