The Africa bush camp wildlife experience
Game viewing is on the top of most people's list when visiting Africa. It's a chance to photograph Africa's "Big Five" Lions, Elephants, Rhino, Cape buffalo, and of course Leopard. We have found the best way to do this is from open land rovers, on private game reserves, adjacent to famed Kruger National Park or in the private reserves in the Serengeti. Unlike the National Parks, you can leave the roads and track an animal right into the bush. The expert rangers and game trackers will get you safely up close for that special photograph.
There is no such thing as roughing it in any of our featured camps. The bush camps and lodges are anything but bush when it comes to comfort, amenities, and service. Expect the very best when it come to food and wine. It seems like it's always time to eat or snack on some delectable goodie. From cooked-to order-breakfasts, to lavish lunch buffets, to dinners around a roaring fire in a Boma, you are well fed. In South Africa most all rooms or chalets are air-conditioned, and many even feature their own plunge pools.
